Cheri Swanson C.N.

Cheri Swanson is a Certified Nutritionist.  She has been in practice for 40 years and has a loyal client base both locally and nationwide. Her areas of specialty are:

In addition to offering nutritional education, Cheri often works on referral from those in a varietyvof medical fields.  She works closely with GI doctors, cardiologists, endocrinologists, oncologists, and internal medicine physicians to educate patients on wise dietary and supplement choices to support their health recovery.

In June 2019 Coast Magazine featured Cheri as one of the top 5 women in health care in Orange Co.

She also does statewide corporate lectures on health and wellness in today’s world

Joanne Miller

For the past 16 years, Joanne has run the Swanson Health Center office.  Her primary responsibilities are working with clients to ensure reaching their health goals, researching new products, keeping abreast of new medical research, and the medical advocacy aspect of our practice. Joanne has extensive knowledge in thyroid, adrenal, digestive and hormone health, as well as cancer support. Joanne is an honorary member of the Swanson family and has provided invaluable support for thousands of clients during challenging times.

Alex J. Swanson M.S.

Alex Swanson is the founder of Nutrition Genome and creator of the popular blog The Health Beat. For over 12 years, he had a clinical practice specializing in mental health, cancer, cardiovascular disorders, digestive disorders, hormone optimization and working with professional and Olympic athletes. He has also worked as a personal trainer, private therapeutic chef, sustainable farmer, lecturer and consultant for numerous health companies for product design and nutrition research. Alex is currently an advisor for Swanson Health Center, overseeing nutrition research and business operations.

Alex received a post-bacc in Nutrition Sciences from Bastyr University in Washington state, a masters degree in Applied Nutrition and Business Entrepreneurship from Northeastern University, a Certificate in Methylation and Clinical Nutrigenomics, and a Certificate in Genetics and Genomics from Stanford University.
