Portobello Mushrooms with Crab and Avocado

Here is a recipe that is an example of when laziness meets inspiration. This takes a total of 5 minutes to make and is pretty delicious. You could definitely make this fancier, but this is the basic version.

  • 4 large portobello mushrooms (slice off the stem)
  • Butter
  • Olive oil
  • 1/4 lb wild dungeness crab
  • 1 large avocado
  • Sliced red onion (optional)

Saute portobellos in a mixture of butter and olive oil until soft on each side. Place crab on top and add thin slices of avocado. Add a little red onion if you would like. That’s it!
